Media Outlets Don't Understand This Political Environment
The idea that control of the House is going to come down to one or two seats is absurd.
It happened again on Tuesday.
We once again saw, as we have throughout the past fourteen months, Democrats overperform by silly margins in Tuesday's elections in Wisconsin and Georgia. The results: Liberal (pro-democracy) justices now enjoy a 5-2 majority on the Wisconsin Supreme Court as the state continues its march out of Republican-instituted autocracy, and a Democratic candidate vying for Marjorie Taylor Green's vacated House seat narrowly lost in the ruby red district, which saw all ten of its counties shift by double digits toward the Democrat compared to 2024.
Some key Wisconsin counties on Tuesday were even bluer than they were in the 2025 Supreme Court election that saw Elon Musk's far-right candidate get his ass walloped. Without the magic fascist clown on the ticket, Republicans have gotten the shit kicked out of them (electorally) in every election since 2018.
That didn't change Tuesday. In fact, it accelerated.
Our team is populating precinct-level results across the entire state of Wisconsin in tonight's Supreme Court race. Madison and Milwaukee stand out as the largest spikes in 3D vote density mode.

I decided this week it was time to mix up the #content I create for the Bad Faith Times folks. Once in a while I'm going to record 10-15 minute podcasts for BFT supporters. Sometimes these pods will be on the serious side, sometimes not as much. I'm always open to feedback, of course.
For a while in 2024 and 2025 I did a monthly BFT video podcast, which fizzled out because I really did not have the proper time or capacity to make those videos the right way, the way I wanted to do it. I made some of these video pods available to the public and some available only to those who support this humble little blog. For now I'm going to publish the audio podcasts for those supporting BFT with $3 or $5 per month.
Today's pod, naturally, is about the current political environment, why mainstream media can't really grasp it, and why racist gerrymanders won't be enough to save Republicans in 2026.
Below is today's podcast for the lovely BFT backers.
